The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and handling statutory compliance. This role requires a professional who can transition seamlessly between both software platforms for various accounting and reporting functions. Key responsibilities: Daily Accounting and Bookkeeping: Record and maintain all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, payments, receipts, and expenses, in both Zoho Books and Tally Prime. Manage and reconcile bank and cash accounts regularly. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, including generating and processing invoices. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and generate financial statements, such as the profit and loss statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement, from both platforms. Create and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS (Management Information System) reports. Taxation and Compliance: Handle all aspects of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) compliance. Prepare and file GST and TDS returns accurately and on time. Coordinate with auditors for the finalization of accounts and assist with statutory audits. Software Proficiency: Demonstrate strong, hands-on experience with both Zoho Books and Tally Prime software. Experience with advanced Excel features for data analysis and reporting is highly desirable. Familiarity with the Zoho-to-Tally connector or similar data transfer methods is a plus. Qualifications: Excellent technical proficiency with Zoho Books and Tally Prime is mandatory. Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards and tax laws (GST, TDS).
