The ANSYS Intern will be responsible for validating and optimizing engineering designs using advanced computational tools. The core focus will be on performing both Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to solve complex engineering problems. Daily tasks will include: Performing structural and thermal FEA using Ansys Mechanical to analyze stress, strain, and deformation in mechanical components. Conducting CFD simulations using Ansys Fluent to model fluid flow, heat transfer, and aerodynamic behaviour. Preparing CAD geometry, generating high-quality meshes, setting up boundary conditions, and post-processing simulation results for both FEA and CFD analyses. Collaborating with experienced design engineers to interpret simulation data, provide design recommendations, and enhance product performance and reliability before physical prototyping. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) concepts. Hands-on experience with simulation software, particularly Ansys Mechanical and/or Ansys Fluent . Solid understanding of core engineering principles including Solid Mechanics, Fluid Dynamics, and Heat Transfer. Experience with 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, SpaceClaim) for geometry preparation. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good communication skills for presenting technical FEA/CFD reports and teamwork skills. Ability to work on-site in Bhubaneswar. Interest in sustainable and clean energy solutions (e.g., wind turbine aerodynamics, battery thermal management) is a plus. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
