Network Design : They plan and design network architectures, taking into consideration the organization's needs, goals, and scalability requirements. Infrastructure Setup : Networking experts set up and configure network hardware and software components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers. Network Protocols : They are well-versed in various network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, and OSPF, and understand how to configure and troubleshoot them. Security : Ensuring network security is a top priority. They implement security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption, to protect against cyber threats. Troubleshooting : Diagnosing and resolving network issues, including connectivity problems, performance bottlenecks, and security breaches. Performance Optimization : Monitoring and optimizing network performance to ensure data flows efficiently and without delays. Virtualization : Managing virtual networks and cloud-based networking solutions, such as those offered by AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Wireless Networking : Configuring and managing wireless networks, including Wi-Fi access points, authentication methods, and encryption protocols. Network Monitoring : Implementing network monitoring tools and practices to keep an eye on network health, detect anomalies, and respond to incidents.
