As a highly skilled Juniper Routing and Switching Engineer (L3), your role will involve managing and troubleshooting Juniper network solutions to ensure optimal network performance and security. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, implementing, and managing Juniper routing and switching solutions. - Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues to maintain high availability and reliability. - Configuring and maintaining Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls. - Developing and enforcing network security policies and procedures. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate Juniper solutions with existing network infrastructure. - Providing L3 support for complex network issues and escalations. - Conducting regular network assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities. - Staying updated with the latest Juniper technologies and industry best practices. - Having in-depth knowledge of Junos OS and Juniper CLI commands. - Demonstrating expertise in configuring and managing Juniper routing and switching devices. - Utilizing network automation tools and scripting languages such as Python and Ansible. - Understanding network security principles and best practices. - Experience with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds and PRTG. - Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. - Ability to perform packet analysis and network troubleshooting using tools like Wireshark. - Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies and implementation. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Juniper routing and switching. - Strong hands-on experience with Juniper MX, EX, QFX, SRX, and PTX series hardware. - Proficiency in routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and MPLS. - Juniper certifications such as JNCIA, JNCIS, or JNCIP are highly desirable. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred skills that would be beneficial for this role include: - Experience with other network technologies such as Cisco, Palo Alto, and Check Point. - Knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMware and Hyper-V. - Understanding of software-defined networking (SDN) concepts.
