Job Description – Network Engineer (Arista / Fortinet / F5 / Multicast)

Job Title: Network Engineer – Market Infrastructure & Trading Networks
Experience: 6 to 10 Years Location: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Gurugram, Chennai

Role Overview

We are seeking experienced Network Engineers with strong expertise in Arista, Fortinet, F5, and Multicast technologies to support a leading global financial services client. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, implementing, migrating, and supporting mission-critical network infrastructure within low-latency trading and market data environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize enterprise and data center network solutions.

• Configure and support Arista switches, Fortinet firewalls, and F5 load balancers.

• Deploy and troubleshoot IP Multicast solutions supporting market data distribution platforms.

• Perform network migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.

• Provide L2/L3 production support for business-critical trading and financial market systems.

• Monitor, analyze, and resolve complex network performance and availability issues.

• Collaborate with application, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure resilient network operations.

• Create and maintain network architecture and operational documentation.

• Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of networking experience in enterprise or financial services environments.

• Strong hands-on experience with:

• Arista EOS Switching

• Fortinet Firewalls

• F5 Load Balancers

• IP Multicast (PIM, IGMP, Multicast Routing)

• Strong understanding of:

• TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VXLAN

• Data Center Networking

• Network Security and Traffic Engineering

• Experience in network design, implementation, migration, and operational support.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues in production environments.

Preferred Experience

• Financial Services, Capital Markets, Exchange, or Trading Platforms.

• Experience supporting market infrastructure and market data networks.

• Exposure to electronic trading systems and low-latency network architectures.

• Knowledge of network automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible) is an advantage.

Critical Requirement

Candidates must possess practical Multicast engineering experience supporting market data distribution and trading infrastructure in low-latency, high-availability environments.
