As a Senior .NET Developer (Azure) at our fast-growing organisation in the Enterprise Software Development and Cloud Services sector, your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining scalable .NET back-end services using C# and ASP.NET Core for production workloads hosted on Azure. You will also be responsible for implementing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices, collaborating with architects and product teams to translate requirements into performant solutions, and deploying and managing applications using Azure App Service and Azure DevOps pipelines while implementing CI/CD best practices. Additionally, you will optimize database access and queries using SQL Server and Entity Framework, participate in code reviews, write unit/integration tests, and maintain observability for services through logging, metrics, and tracing. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET back-end services using C# and ASP.NET Core on Azure - Implement and consume RESTful APIs and microservices with secure, versioned, and well-documented interfaces - Collaborate with architects and product teams to translate requirements into performant solutions and reusable components - Deploy and manage applications using Azure App Service, Azure DevOps pipelines, and implement CI/CD best practices - Optimize database access and queries using SQL Server and Entity Framework; own schema changes and performance tuning - Participate in code reviews, write unit/integration tests, and maintain observability for services Qualifications Required (Must-Have): - C# - ASP.NET Core - ASP.NET MVC - RESTful APIs - SQL Server - Entity Framework - Azure App Service - Azure DevOps Preferred Skills: - Azure Functions - Docker - Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) If you join us, you can expect to work in an on-site, collaborative engineering environment with a strong emphasis on code quality and mentoring.
