Job Summary

Infosys is hiring a skilled and motivated .NET Developer to join its delivery team in Bengaluru. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality software applications, supporting existing systems, analyzing technical issues, and contributing to client projects and digital transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of .NET technologies, programming concepts, database management, software engineering principles, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Candidates should also be capable of troubleshooting application issues, executing test cases, and collaborating with internal teams and clients to deliver reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain high-quality software applications using .NET technologies.
• Translate technical specifications and software designs into efficient, reliable, and maintainable code.
• Develop and enhance application components using C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and internal teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Perform technical analysis to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects and production issues.
• Provide application support and ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of software systems.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and project-related artifacts.
• Execute test cases and test scenarios according to defined test plans and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve application performance, code quality, and development processes.
• Follow established software engineering practices, coding standards, and SDLC procedures.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and ensure timely project delivery.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing activities and contribute to organizational knowledge management initiatives.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies, Microsoft platforms, and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 years of relevant software development or application support experience.
• Strong knowledge of .NET technologies and C# programming.
• Understanding of .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Knowledge of Microsoft technologies and backend application development.
• Good understanding of databases, database management, and SQL fundamentals.
• Familiarity with operating systems and software development environments.
• Understanding of software engineering principles, design specifications, and development practices.
• Ability to analyze technical requirements and independently handle medium- to complex-level tasks.
• Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, test execution, and production issue resolution.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication, teamwork, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in .NET application development and application support.
• Hands-on knowledge of .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Familiarity with Microsoft development tools and technologies.
• Experience in backend development and database integration.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and test case execution.
• Exposure to production support, incident analysis, and application maintenance.

Compensation and Employment Details

• Annual CTC: ₹3–5 LPA.
