Quality Inspector – PP-FRP / PP-CP Tanks & Ducts (Indian Grade CO 15 EG – Reliance Make) Location: Ahmedabad Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Manufacturing / Industrial Fabrication Experience Required: 3–7 Years About the Role: We are seeking a Quality Inspector with proven experience in the survey, manufacturing, and quality control of PP-FRP / PP-CP tanks and ducting systems, particularly those constructed from Indian grade CO 15 EG (RELIANCE make) materials. You will play a key role in ensuring that all fabrication processes meet the required technical standards, client specifications, and regulatory guidelines. A strong understanding of composite materials, pressure/non-pressure systems, and industrial quality control procedures is essential. Key Responsibilities: · Inspect and verify the fabrication and assembly of PP-FRP / PP-CP tanks and ducts, focusing on material compliance (CO 15 EG – Reliance grade). · Conduct dimensional, visual, and mechanical inspections as per relevant standards and customer drawings. · Review and validate raw material test certificates, QA/QC documentation, and in-process reports. · Ensure compliance with fabrication procedures, including lamination, welding, curing, and surface finishing. · Coordinate third-party inspections and prepare detailed inspection reports. · Identify and report non-conformities, and support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. · Participate in factory acceptance tests (FAT), hydro testing, spark testing, and final visual inspections. · Maintain accurate records of inspections and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives. Requirements: · Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical discipline. · 3–7 years of hands-on experience in PP-FRP / PP-CP fabrication, particularly with CO 15 EG – RELIANCE make grade materials. · Strong understanding of ISO, ASME, or equivalent quality standards in composite tank/duct manufacturing. · Experience in reading engineering drawings, WPS/PQR documents, and QA/QC plans. · Familiarity with industrial fabrication equipment and tools used in thermoplastic and FRP production. · Attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work independently. · Experience working with surveyors or in third-party certified projects is preferred.
