Job Description – Graphic Designer Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha Experience Required: 3–5 Years Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site Koustuv Group of Institutions (KGI) is one of Eastern India’s leading educational groups, known for academic excellence, innovation, and strong digital presence. As part of our expanding creative and branding initiatives, we are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to support institutional branding, campaigns, and digital communication. Key Responsibilities Develop designs for social media posts, campaign creatives, event promotions, banners, brochures, and institutional marketing material. Create compelling visual narratives for academic programmes, achievements, seminars, student activities, and admission campaigns. Produce layouts for digital and print assets such as posters, hoardings, standees, certificates, newsletters, etc. Maintain brand consistency across all visuals, templates, and communication materials. Assist in enhancing and evolving the visual identity of KGI and its constituent institutions. Work closely with the team to support content calendars, admission campaigns, and event promotions. Coordinate with Content Writers, Social Media Managers, and Video Editors to produce cohesive and engaging creative outputs. Adapt designs based on feedback from department heads and senior leadership. Design promotional assets for seminars, workshops, cultural events, competitions, and academic activities. Support campus-level branding requirements during large events, orientations, and celebrations. Create simple motion graphics, animated posts, or GIFs. Provide creative inputs during photoshoots and video shoots. Required Skills & Competencies Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Canva (mandatory). Strong understanding of layout, typography, colours, and design principles. Ability to produce both modern and institutional-style creatives. Knowledge of social media design trends and educational branding. Creativity with strong visualisation ability and attention to detail. Ability to work on multiple design briefs simultaneously under tight deadlines. Basic knowledge of motion graphics / After Effects (optional). Previous experience working with educational institutions or digital marketing agencies .(preferred but optional). Experience designing for both print and digital formats. Education Bachelor’s degree or Certification Course in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or equivalent discipline preferred.
