Brief Role Description: Narayana Health is in the process of setting up a strategic team tasked with bringing healthcare closer to patients. The initiative involves setting up primary and secondary care services that are easily accessible to patients and are supported by hyper-responsive processes built to keep patient needs and satisfaction at the center of focus. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between Narayana Healths in hospital offering and patients everyday healthcare needs and provide patients access to a continuum of care tailored to their own specific healthcare needs. In this role, the Technician will perform the examination of patients of all ages for the purpose of assisting in the diagnosis of patient illness. Role & responsibilities: Maintenance of record of x-ray reports of patients referred. Proper storing of X-ray films of all cases performed. To take diagnostic radiography of patients as required by doctors. Proper storing of unexposed x-ray films. Keeping account of x-ray films supplied, used, and balance in hand. Wear the film badge to assess exposure to x-ray radiation. To keep a record of all x-rays taken in the register. Assists in Preparing and processing billing paperwork as and when required. Performs minor maintenance and cleaning of equipment and maintains the cleanliness of the x-ray room To keep a record of paid/unpaid radiological investigations done for patients. Preferred candidate profile: Proficiency in verbal communication English and Kannada/Hindi. Any local language proficiency is an added advantage. Qualification: DRT (Diploma in Radiological Technology) / B.Sc. (Radiotherapy). Experience 01 year to 2 years. Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of life span growth and development and the ability to assess data regarding the patients status and provide care. Demonstrated potential ability to perform the essential functions as outlined above. • Must be able to produce very high-quality special imaging with little supervision. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to plan & organize ones work schedule effectively
