As a Junior Travel Consultant, you will play a critical role in managing new travel leads, assisting in proposal creation, and ensuring high-quality communication with potential clients. You’ll work closely with the marketing teams to deliver exceptional service and support the conversion of leads into bookings. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead Handling & Qualification: Respond to incoming travel inquiries within defined Turnaround Time (TAT) Conduct initial conversations to understand client travel needs, preferences, budgets, and timelines Qualify leads based on trip type (e.g., family, honeymoon, solo, group) and assign priority levels Maintain accurate lead data and conversation summaries with Sales team 2. Proposal Support Collaborate with the Product and Operations teams to draft customized travel itineraries and pricing Support senior consultants in refining proposals for clarity, presentation, and content quality Suggest suitable alternatives if desired experiences or accommodations are unavailable Follow up with clients to gather feedback and gauge interest in shared proposals 3. Client Communication & Follow-Ups Manage regular follow-ups via WhatsApp, phone, based on predefined schedules Address common client queries related to visa, payment options, cancellation policies, and inclusions Escalate premium or time-sensitive leads to Senior Consultants Log all client interactions and communication records diligently 4. Coordination & Learning Coordinate with the Marketing team for contextual lead insights and targeting strategies Actively participate in in-house training programs and team briefings Shadow senior consultants on high-value Stay informed about product offerings, seasonal promotions, and travel trends Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Travel, Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred 0–2 years of experience in sales, travel consulting, or customer service Strong verbal and written communication skills (English & regional languages) Familiarity with Excel and Canva (preferred) Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and work well under pressure Passion for travel and customer service Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus Ability to commute/relocate: Bodakdev, Ahmedabad, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Willingness to travel: 75% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
