The Doctor Referral Executive will be the first member of MV’s Doctor Referral Team. The role is central to building and nurturing a strong network of doctors across Chennai and nearby areas, with the aim of facilitating patient referrals for diabetes management, complications, and specialized diabetic foot care. This role requires proactive networking, relationship management, and consistent follow-ups to position MV as the trusted partner for comprehensive diabetes and complication management. Job Summary: The Electrician is responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of hospital electrical systems, equipment, and utility operations. Ensures uninterrupted power supply and supports emergency maintenance to maintain a safe and efficient hospital environment. Key Responsibilities:Electrical Maintenance & Operations Perform regular inspection, repair and maintenance of electrical panels, wiring, circuits, DB boards, MCBs, stabilizers & UPS systems . Troubleshoot and resolve electrical breakdowns promptly. Ensure proper functioning of hospital equipment, lighting, fans, AC power points, and emergency power systems . Diabetic Foot Screening Perform basic foot assessment , check for: Neuropathy symptoms Ulcers, cracks, callus, infections Foot hygiene & circulation status Prepare the patient for detailed foot examination by doctor/podiatrist . Maintain foot clinic instruments & sterilization. 3. ECG / ECHO Assistance Prepare patient for ECG/ECHO (positioning, electrode placement guidance). Assist technicians/cardiologist during the procedure. Clean & maintain ECG/ECHO machines after every use. Ensure proper data entry & report dispatch to respective departments. Explain procedure and provide comfort to the patient. 4. Injection & Medication Support Administer insulin/injections only under staff nurse/doctor supervision. Check and follow insulin storage guidelines & dosage instructions . Maintain Injection registers & drug usage documentation . Maintain aseptic technique & follow injection safety protocols. Observe and report adverse reactions immediately. 5. Documentation & Record Maintenance Record vital data, foot test findings & procedure notes in OP registers/electronic systems. Maintain patient confidentiality strictly. Assist in daily reporting and case file compilation. 6. Coordination & Patient Support Coordinate with OP/Foot clinic/Lab/Pharmacy for patient flow.
