Production planning: Preparation of Production plan and achieve the delivery date without any rework/ rejection. 2. Review GA Drawing, Detail manufacturing drawing, QAP & purchase indent & give feedback to design department if any query before starting manufacturing 3. Review Purchase indent & check available stock in factory, if material is not in stock then communicate with purchase department. 4. Follow up with purchase department for material availability & Readiness 5. Plan outsource production activities & site installation activities 6. Visit at vendor & installation site to check production & installation status & resolve issues (if any). 7. Monitor the production processes and prepare production schedules 8. Raw material planning in co-ordination with Purchase team. 9. Training the production team. 10. Vendor assessment & inspection. 11. Manage daily operations in factory. 12. Education, Experience, and Certification Requirements: Bachelors or masters degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 3 years of management experience including design, engineering of acoustic products. In-depth understanding of the Acoustics including compliance to applicable standards and class requirements, and regulatory requirements. In-depth understanding of design & engineering principles including Industrial acoustics, manufacturing processes, estimation. Strategic leadership ability. Able to demonstrate experience of working within design & engineering function. Strong working knowledge of 2D, 3D CAD (CATIA) & CAE. Experience of managing a team. Experience of testing and prototyping. Membership of an industry related Professional Body would be advantageous. Key Roles: Responsible for leading a design team together with the development team to ensure the delivery of new designs from the concept stage to the development of prototypes through to finished products ready for manufacture. Drive creative thinking, ensure customer needs are considered and collaborate with the operations team to ensure products are designed for efficient manufacture. Work on multiple major projects requiring innovative solutions that advance the technical field. Long range strategic planning.
