Role Overview: We are looking for a technically strong and detail-oriented Mechanical or Automotive Engineer with experience in Production, PPC, or Product Engineering to support our plant audits from a technical and operational perspective. This role demands a hands-on individual who can evaluate plant processes, assess compliance to technical standards, and recommend improvements. Key Responsibilities: Conduct technical and operational audits across production plants in Bawal and Bangalore. Evaluate compliance with technical standards, SOPs, quality parameters, and maintenance protocols. Analyze production processes, material flow, efficiency metrics and production yield. Audit against SAP transactions related to BOMs, routing, work centers, material movements, and production and procurement planning. Support audits in areas like PPC, inventory control, downtime analysis, and machine utilization, etc. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Production, QA, Maintenance, Planning, logistics) to gather and verify information. Prepare audit findings and recommendations using advanced MS Excel-based analysis. Assist in identifying risks related to operations, quality, and cost optimization. Ensure follow-up on action plans and verify closure effectiveness. Technical Skills: Good understanding of manufacturing processes, technical drawings, quality standards, and lean manufacturing principles Hands-on experience with SAP (PP, MM modules) Advanced MS Excel skills pivot tables, lookups, charts, dashboards, and data analysis tools Preferred candidate profile Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering (mandatory) Experience: 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Production, PPC, Product Engineering, or related functions in the automotive manufacturing sector in India. Good to Have: Exposure to ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949, or any other technical standards Audit or quality system training/certification Experience working with internal audit teams is a plus
