Multimedia Designer/Educator

As a Multimedia Designer/Trainer based in Bangalore, you will play a pivotal role in leading an initiative that focuses on training individuals in relevant skill sets related to graphic design, multimedia, editing, and design projects. The organization is committed to providing digital literacy and multimedia-based skills to individuals, with a special emphasis on inclusivity by employing individuals from the differently-abled sector. Your primary responsibilities will include teaching and training students in graphic designing and photo/video editing skills, as well as collaborating on client projects related to graphic design and editing. It is essential that you have the ability to train individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities. You will also be expected to enhance the design curriculum, develop training materials, and maintain a strong design portfolio for both students and the organization. In addition, you will interface with clients to understand their requirements for external design projects, execute these projects, and also work on internal design needs such as posters, brochures, videos, social media posts, and blogs. Maintaining a robust social media presence for the organization will also be part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong portfolio showcasing their work, along with 0-2 years of experience as a Graphic/Multimedia Designer. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, as well as the ability to accept and implement constructive feedback. Creativity, storytelling skills, an understanding of font/color pairing and design trends, multitasking abilities, and problem-solving skills are also qualities we are looking for in the candidate. Moreover, having a background in working for non-profit organizations, NGOs, or startups, as well as prior experience in training within the field of Design and Multimedia, would be considered advantageous.
