POSITION TITLE : Assistant Vice President (AVP) - Risk Management SPECIFIC AREA OF ASSIGNMENT : Risk Management (Financial + Non-Financial) Role Objective: Assist 2nd Line Management in Improving / Monitoring Financial and Non-Financial Risk Management including Credit Risk, Market risk, and Operational Risk Management, IS Risk, Product Risk Management and Business Continuity. This also includes Senior Stakeholder Management, Committee Reporting and External Audit Management. Execute projects/tasks which are assigned specifically by the Management. Responsibilities: 1. Manage comprehensive risk management as the second line of defense for credit, market, and operational risks. Conduct relevant tests and ensure robust management through RCSA, control assurance, KRI management, incident management, business continuity, Stress testing, ECL calculation and external audits 2. Assist Supervisors in framing crucial/critical decisions by providing necessary inputs, analysis and opinion 3. Assist Management/ Supervisors in i. Operational Risk activities – RCSA Management and Control Assurance ii. Various committee meetings such as Risk Forum/s and Regional Reporting iii. Oversee the development and implementation of the Entity’s BCM risk management function and support Global Head Office and / or Regional Head Office’s BCM initiatives embedding practices in alignment with GIFT regulator and Peers within industry. iv. Assist in Incident Management / Information security risk management - track monitor and report incidents and ways to mitigate the same v.
