Job Title : Telemarketing Executive Location : Jadavpur, Kolkata Salary : Up to ₹20,000 - 25,000 per month Experience : Minimum 3 years in telemarketing (mandatory experience in coal & mineral or related any sector) Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Telemarketing Executive with a proven track record in coal & mineral sector. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hardcore telemarketing experience , with deep knowledge of the coal & mineral sector and strong persuasive communication skills. Key Responsibilities Make outbound & inbound calls to potential and existing clients within the coal & mineral sector. Generate leads and convert inquiries into sales opportunities Maintain and update client database regularly Follow up with leads consistently to achieve sales targets Work closely with the sales team to coordinate client needs and appointments Provide detailed information about coal & mineral product. Handle client objections with professionalism and persistence Prepare and share regular call reports and sales updates. Ensure accurate documentation of incoming leads and maintain clear coordination and transparency with senior team members. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders related to coal &mineral sales operations. Track key coal & mineral sales metrics and support business development activities Liaise with clients & vendors as required Must maintain strict confidentiality of company data and client information while performing activities. Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 3 years of hardcore telemarketing experience Mandatory experience in coal & mineral industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Hindi & English preferred) Ability to work under pressure and meet daily/weekly targets Proficient in basic computer operations and CRM systems. The role involves vendor management, market analysis, contract negotiation, and close collaboration with internal teams to meet operational and strategic requirements. Key Responsibilities: Procurement Strategy Development: 1. Develop and implement procurement strategies for coal in line with the organization’s operational and financial goals. 2. Conduct market research to identify reliable suppliers and evaluate supply chain risks. 3. Monitor global and local coal markets to anticipate price fluctuations and supply challenges. 4. Identify, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers. Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, delivery timelines, and compliance with agreements. Supplier Management: 1. Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers to ensure a consistent and high-quality coal supply. 2. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements to achieve the best value for the organization. 3. Ensure compliance with supplier agreements, including quality standards, delivery timelines, and legal regulations. Quality Assurance and Compliance: 1. Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that purchased coal meets specifications and environmental standards. 2. Stay updated on government regulations and industry standards related to coal procurement and usage. Inventory and Logistics Coordination: 1. Work closely with the logistics team to manage coal shipments, storage, and inventory levels. 2. Optimize procurement schedules to avoid stock shortages or excess inventory. 3. Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries. Cost Management and Budgeting: 1. Develop and manage the procurement budget for coal, ensuring cost control and efficiency. 2. Analyze spending trends and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality. 3. Track and report on procurement performance metrics to senior management. Stakeholder Collaboration: 1. Collaborate with production, operations, and finance teams to align procurement activities with organizational needs. 2. Address and resolve issues related to coal supply, such as quality concerns or delivery delays. Risk Mitigation: 1. Identify and mitigate risks in coal procurement, including market volatility, supplier reliability, and geopolitical factors. 2. Establish contingency plans to address supply disruptions or unexpected demand changes. Qualifications and Skills: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Mining Engineering, or a related field. 2. Minimum [5 years] of experience in coal procurement, commodity trading, or supply chain management. 3. Strong knowledge of the coal industry, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements. 4. Proven negotiation and contract management skills. 5. Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite. 6. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 7. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Preferred: 1. Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field. 2. Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP). 3. Experience with international coal sourcing or trading. 4. Knowledge of sustainability practices and their impact on coal procurement.
