WordPress Web Designer & Developer Full-time, Remote (must work North American time zone) We are a fast-growing SEO and digital marketing agency specializing in supporting moving companies and home service businesses across the U.S. Our mission is to deliver high-performing WordPress websites, effective SEO strategies, and targeted marketing solutions that drive measurable growth. We are looking for a talented WordPress Web Designer & Developer who can take a website from idea → concept → live launch. This is a client-facing role, so you must be able to communicate clearly in English while working with both our internal SEO team and external clients. Key Responsibilities Design and develop custom WordPress websites using Oxygen Builder for moving & home service clients Build responsive, mobile-first websites that meet modern design & performance standards Integrate plugins, APIs, and CRMs (Zapier, HubSpot, etc.) to connect websites with client systems Collaborate with our SEO team to implement on-page & technical SEO best practices Troubleshoot, maintain, and update existing client websites Ensure websites meet speed, security, and accessibility benchmarks Join client discovery calls to gather requirements and present solutions Provide technical consultation and client support on web development best practices Required Skills Proven experience with WordPress development & customization Experience with Oxygen Builder and other platforms (Elementor, WIX, etc.) Strong understanding of design principles: visual hierarchy, spacing, typography, color theory, and user experience Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (PHP/MySQL a plus) Strong understanding of responsive design & mobile-first development Knowledge of SEO principles & technical implementation Experience with API integrations & CRM connections Strong English communication skills (written & verbal) Bonus Skills (Not Required but Nice to Have) Experience with moving companies or home service websites Familiarity with local SEO best practices Google Analytics / Tag Manager setup experience Conversion Rate Optimization knowledge Experience with ClickUp or other project management tools Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, or similar) Ideal Candidate Qualities Self-motivated with strong time management Excellent communication & client-facing presence Problem solver with attention to detail Able to manage multiple projects at once Always learning & up to date on web trends Collaborative team player What We Offer Competitive salary (based on experience) 100% remote, flexible work environment Growth & professional development opportunities Collaborative team culture with regular knowledge sharing Chance to work with established U.S. clients in the moving & home services industry Requirements 2+ years of professional web design & development experience, SEO experience a plus.
