MonkDevelopers is seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our engineering team working on an AI-powered trading and investment advisory platform . Success in this role means building secure, scalable, and high-performing APIs that power our cross-platform app (Web + Mobile). You’ll work closely with frontend and mobile teams to deliver smooth, data-driven experiences for thousands of retail investors. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI / Python Implement and optimize database schemas (PostgreSQL / MongoDB) Integrate third-party APIs and ensure data integrity across systems Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and AI engineers for seamless workflows Participate in code reviews, deployments, and performance tuning Ensure system reliability, security, and scalability at every step Qualifications 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Python backend development Proficiency with FastAPI (or Flask/Django with FastAPI learning intent) Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases Familiarity with AWS / cloud hosting and deployment practices Good understanding of RESTful API design principles Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
