Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled MongoDB Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our database environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in MongoDB administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, replication, and high availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and maintain MongoDB databases to ensure optimal performance, availability, and reliability.
• Implement and maintain backup, recovery, replication, and database security best practices.
• Monitor database health, including slow queries, replication lag, node failures, CPU and memory utilization, locks, connections, and index usage.
• Optimize query performance, troubleshoot database issues, and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Plan and execute database upgrades, maintenance activities, and patch deployments.
• Design, implement, and support High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to assess the impact of database changes, optimize queries, and support application releases.
• Automate database deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks using scripting.
• Ensure database security, stability, and compliance with established operational standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience as a MongoDB Administrator or DBA.
• Strong knowledge of MongoDB administration, performance tuning, replication, and backup and recovery.
• Good understanding of enterprise architecture, database systems, networking, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux shell scripting and Python.
• Hands-on experience working with Linux and Windows environments.
• Understanding of database high availability, disaster recovery, and security practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with database automation and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of database performance optimization and capacity planning.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation and enterprise database environments.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
