Job Description – Video Editor Position : Video Editor Location : Connaught Place, Delhi Employment Type : Full-time Role Overview We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join the Molitics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content for news, social media, campaigns, and brand communication. You will collaborate with the editorial, marketing, and design teams to deliver engaging videos that align with Molitics’ vision of redefining political communication. Key Responsibilities Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging content for digital platforms. Work on news explainers, interviews, political campaigns, and promotional videos. Add motion graphics, subtitles, transitions, and sound effects where required. Collaborate with content writers and social media teams to create videos tailored to different platforms (Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, etc.). Maintain brand consistency across all video outputs. Stay updated with editing trends, tools, and formats suitable for a digital-first audience. Manage deadlines while delivering multiple projects simultaneously. Requirements Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio. Proficiency in software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools. Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual style. Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment. Understanding of political, social, and current affairs content is a plus. Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to fast-paced requirements. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Media, Film, Communication, or related field. Experience in news/media organizations or political content creation. Knowledge of color grading, sound mixing, and animation basics.
