As a member of the Infosys consulting team, your responsibilities will involve actively supporting the consulting team throughout various project phases. This includes tasks such as problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, design, and deployment. You will be expected to explore alternative solutions through research, including literature surveys, public domain information, vendor evaluations, etc., and develop proof of concepts (POCs). Creating requirement specifications based on business needs, defining processes, and detailed functional designs will also be part of your role. Additionally, you will assist in configuring solution requirements, diagnosing issues, seeking clarifications, and identifying solution alternatives. Contribution to unit level and organizational initiatives to provide high-quality solutions to customers is also expected. If you are part of the Infosys testing team, your primary responsibilities will include anchoring testing requirements, developing test strategies, tracking and monitoring project plans, reviewing test plans, cases, and scripts. You will develop project quality plans, validate defective prevention plans, and ensure effective testing solutions for clients. Ensuring the availability of the right test environment, providing necessary feedback for test data setup, and validating go-live activities are also key tasks. Furthermore, mentoring the team, providing regular feedback, and coaching for performance improvement will be crucial.
