Mobile QA Software Engineer

Role Overview: You will be joining YipitData as a Mobile QA Engineer, where you will be responsible for test planning and execution, automated testing, defect management, and communication collaboration. You will work on designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks and test suites for Android and IOS mobile applications. Collaboration with developers and product managers to understand requirements and deliver robust test automation solutions will be key to success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop comprehensive test plans covering manual, automated, and performance testing based on product requirements and business processes. - Create and maintain efficient automated testing frameworks, write test scripts, and implement automated testing processes. - Record and track defects found during testing, maintain close communication with cross-functional team members, and collaborate to solve problems during testing. - Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test suites for Android and IOS mobile applications. - Collaborate with developers and product managers to deliver robust, scalable test automation solutions. - Participate in code reviews to improve overall test coverage and automation strategy. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related majors. - Solid computer foundation and programming skills, familiarity with common data structures and algorithms. - Excellent in one of the following languages: Golang/Java/Python. - Familiarity with open source components such as MySQL, Redis, Message Queue, or NoSQL. - Working knowledge of mobile OS such as Android and IOS. - Experience with mobile application testing and developing automated test scripts for Android and IOS. - Proficient in Cross-Platform compatibility testing. - Experience with mobile automation frameworks like Appium, Espresso, XCUI Test. - Experience using tools like Xcode, Android Studio, Charles Proxy, and Firebase for debugging and performance monitoring. - Experience with identifying non-functional testing requirements for mobile applications. - Experience working with and setting up CI/CD pipelines for test automation. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Excellent logic analysis capabilities, ability to abstract and split business logic reasonably. - Strong ownership, self-motivation, and ability to deliver independently while collaborating effectively.
