Mobile Application Developer – iOS & Android

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
• Build responsive, user-friendly, and high-performance mobile applications.
• Develop reusable components and maintain clean, scalable code.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA teams, and product owners.
• Implement application security, authentication, and data protection mechanisms.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Manage application releases and deployments to the App Store and Google Play Store.
• Ensure compatibility across different devices and OS versions.

The Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience

The role reports into Expert Software Engineer

• Must have first class Bachelor s degree in Engineering or master's in computers from an accredited college/ university
• Excellent analytical and problem- solving skills.
• Proven 5 - 8 years working experience in Java enterprise development, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems and knack for writing clean, readable Java code.
• Must be familiar with the full project lifecycle, for both development and support projects, including estimation.
• Must have Technical Skills
• iOS Development Strong experience in Swift and SwiftUI.
• Hands-on experience with UIKit.
• Xcode and iOS SDK.
• Knowledge of Core Data, SQLite, and local storage.
• Push notifications and background processing.
• Experience with Apple App Store deployment.

Android Development

• Strong experience in Kotlin and Java.
• Hands-on experience with Android SDK.
• Android Studio and Jetpack Compose.
• Knowledge of Android architecture components.
• Room Database, SQLite, and local storage.
• Push notifications and background services.
• Experience with Google Play Store deployment.

Common Mobile Development Skills

• REST API integration and JSON.
• Firebase services and analytics.
• OAuth 2.0, JWT, and mobile application security.
• Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Unit testing and UI automation testing.
• Agile/Scrum development methodology.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native.
• Knowledge of mobile application architecture (MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture).
• Experience integrating payment gateways.
• Knowledge of biometric authentication.
• Experience with application performance monitoring tools.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
