Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hubballi Urban for a Senior Optical Engineer. The role includes designing, developing, and optimizing advanced optical systems and components for diverse applications. Other responsibilities include overseeing optical design, prototyping, and testing processes; conducting simulations and providing optical performance analyses; and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product alignment with quality standards and project goals. The Senior Optical Engineer will also contribute to innovation in optical technologies to meet evolving industry needs. Qualifications Expertise in optical system design, lens design, and simulation tools such as Zemax, CODE V, or TracePro Strong understanding of optomechanical design and proficiency in mechanical CAD software Hands-on experience in optical manufacturing, precision alignment, and advanced optical film coatings Knowledge of optical testing, metrology tools, and data analysis for performance validation Ability to apply computational techniques for optical problem-solving and innovation Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management skills Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Optical Engineering, Physics, or related discipline Experience with AR/VR, autonomous driving, or life sciences applications is a plus Proficiency in programming languages like Python or MATLAB preferred Contact : mlthr@mloptic.com
