Role Description We are looking for a Carbon Process Manager to take full ownership of our carbon registration and issuance pipeline. This role will oversee all activities related to registering projects with Gold Standard, Verra, and other carbon registries, and managing validation and verification processes with third-party VVBs. You will be accountable for ensuring timely carbon credit issuance by coordinating across Operations, Product, and Carbon Accounting teams, while liaising with senior stakeholders inside and outside the organization. This is a mission-critical role within a fast-growing startup, ideal for someone ready to lead a work stream and deliver results under high stakes. Carbon Project Registration & Certification Lead the end-to-end registration process with registries such as Gold Standard, Verra Ensure documentation meets the highest standards of integrity and compliance. Track and manage registry timelines, deadlines, and deliverables. Validation & Verification Management Act as the primary point of contact for Validation and Verification Bodies (VVBs). Prepare and coordinate documentation, data, and responses to VVB queries. Proactively mitigate potential delays or non-conformities. Rating Agency & Standards Coordination Manage relationships with rating agencies such as Sylvera, BeZero, and Calyx. Coordinate applications for CCP and other reputed carbon quality standards. Cross-Functional Coordination and Due Diligence Suppor t Prepare clear, data-backed documents and updates to leadership on risk assessment and issuance timelines. Support leadership in responding to investor and buyer information requests. Work closely with the co-founders to take strategic decisions on project growth. Process Improvement & Ownership Develop and optimize internal processes to reduce cycle times for registration and issuance. Collaborate and facilitate necessary cross-team communications with operations, product, and QA/QC teams to ensure robust internal processes. Maintain an organized repository of all registry submissions and correspondence. Who you are Registry & Methodology Expert – Strong understanding of Gold Standard, Verra, or other carbon credit methodologies and processes. Background with rice AWD will be preferred.
