Job Description: MindTech Counsellor (Inquiry Department)Department: Inquiry & Counselling Location: Pal / Green City / Adajan Timing: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM Salary: As per company norms Role OverviewThe Inquiry Department Counsellor is responsible for handling incoming leads, explaining MindTech services, converting inquiries into appointments, and delivering high-quality counselling to students, parents, and professionals. Key Responsibilities : 1. Inquiry HandlingAttend and manage all incoming calls, walk-in inquiries, and WhatsApp leads. Provide accurate information about DMIT, Career Counselling, and MindTech services. Maintain high call standards: energy, clarity, product knowledge, objection handling, and closing skills. Ensure quick response time and 100% follow-up on all leads. 2. Counselling & ConversionConduct professional counselling sessions for students, parents, and working professionals. Understand client needs and recommend appropriate reports or counselling packages. Explain DMIT reports, career guidance, and benefits clearly and confidently. Achieve monthly counselling-to-conversion targets. 3. Follow-Up & Appointment SchedulingConvert leads into confirmed counselling appointments. Maintain proper inquiry records and follow-up sheets. Ensure no lead is missed, delayed, or closed without proper reason. 4. Client Support & CoordinationCoordinate with the training, reporting, and operations team for smooth service delivery. Handle client queries, doubts, and post-counselling support politely and professionally. Maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat and referral business. Skills & CompetenciesExcellent communication (English, Hindi, Gujarati preferred) Strong counselling and convincing skills Positive attitude, energy, and confidence Good objection-handling abilities Basic computer knowledge (Excel, CRM, WhatsApp Business, etc.) Ability to work under targets and deadlines Eligibility CriteriaGraduate / Postgraduate (Education, Psychology, HR, or related fields preferred) Experience in counselling, tele-calling, education industry, or customer handling preferred
