The ideal candidate should also be proficient with Rubrik backup solutions, have a strong grasp of database performance monitoring, and be capable of operating independently in critical environments. Key Responsibilities: Database Administration: Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server instances across production, QA, and development. Manage database objects (schemas, indexes, views, stored procedures). Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot incidents. SQL Server OS Installation & Patching: Perform Windows Server installation and configuration specific to SQL Server needs. Carry out SQL Server installation, instance setup, and feature configuration. Plan and apply SQL Server Cumulative Updates and Service Packs in accordance with compliance and change control. High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Configure and maintain Always On Availability Groups, Failover Cluster Instances (FCI), Log Shipping, and Database Mirroring.
