Metrology Manager - Operations | FINJO N1347

Key Responsibilities

Manage Pan-India 3D metrology operations and inspection projects.

Handle measurement and inspection using Leica Laser Trackers, Portable CMM Arms, and 3D Scanners.

Plan projects, allocate manpower and equipment, and monitor project execution.

Manage and guide metrology engineers and technicians.

Review measurement data and inspection reports to ensure accuracy and quality.

Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve customer escalations.

Coordinate with customers to understand technical requirements and provide suitable solutions.

Support application engineering and sales activities, including technical presentations and customer visits.

Monitor project timelines, productivity, equipment utilization, and operational costs.

Ensure equipment calibration and compliance with quality standards.

Develop and maintain customer relationships across automotive, aerospace, heavy engineering, and manufacturing industries.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of 3D metrology and dimensional measurement.

Hands-on experience with Leica Laser Trackers, Portable CMM Arms, and 3D Scanners.

Experience in team management and project execution.

Good customer handling, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and travel across India.

Understanding of inspection reports, calibration, and quality standards.

Exposure to application engineering and technical sales will be an advantage.

Educational Qualification

Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.

Preferred Candidate Profile

712 years of relevant experience in metrology and dimensional inspection.

Experience managing metrology operations and technical teams.

Strong technical knowledge, plus customer-facing and sales skills.

Candidates based in Pune or willing to relocate, with flexibility for Pan-India travel.

Immediate joiners or candidates with a maximum 15-day notice period preferred.
