Role Description Tender & Inquiry Analysis (If needed) Bill of Materials (BOM) Preparation Costing of Raw Materials & Bought-Out Components Manufacturing Process Costing Overheads & Indirect Cost Estimation Estimation of Project Execution Costs Risk Assessment & Cost Contingency Planning Pricing Strategy & Final Proposal Preparation Cross-Functional Coordination Documentation & Cost Database Management Compliance & Technical Understanding Continuous Improvement Qualities & Qualification we are looking for : B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Most preferred for capital equipment, pressure vessels, machinery manufacturing.) Understanding of: Sheet metal fabrication, welding processes, machining operations P&ID interpretation, pressure vessel codes (ASME Sec VIII), GMP compliance Automation basics (PLC/SCADA), utility systems (steam, vacuum, compressed air) Reading engineering drawings & P&IDs Knowledge of manufacturing processes Strong costing & estimation accuracy Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally ERP) Proficient in Excel, cost breakdown models, and estimation tools
