Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Tourism Operations Manager to lead and optimize all aspects of our medical tourism service operations. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring a seamless, high-quality, and patient-centric experience for individuals traveling for medical care. The ideal candidate will possess strong operational expertise, exceptional interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of the healthcare and travel industries, and a proven ability to manage and motivate a team. Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership & Management: Oversee and manage the end-to-end patient journey in India, from their arrival in India, medical treatment, post-treatment follow-up and return travel to their home country. Develop, implement, and refine operational policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency, quality, and patient satisfaction. Manage and optimize workflows for case management, appointment scheduling, travel logistics (flights, accommodation, local transport), medical visa assistance etc. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patient satisfaction, operational efficiency, cost management, and turnaround times. Patient Experience & Care Coordination: Champion a patient-first culture, ensuring all interactions are empathetic, culturally sensitive, and professional. Oversee the coordination of medical consultations, treatment plans, and communication between patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams. Ensure patients receive comprehensive pre-travel information about their medical tour, including details about their airport pick-up, hospital, hotel details etc. Stakeholder & Partner Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with partner hospitals, clinics, physicians, travel agencies, hotels, and other service providers. Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with vendors and partners to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to cross-sell and expand service offerings. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of patient coordinators, and support staff. Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance work environment. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training and development needs for the team. Ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient resource allocation. Financial & Budget Management: Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial accountability within the operations team. Oversee patient billing and payment processes in coordination with the finance department. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, Business Administration, Tourism & Hospitality, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations management, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role within the medical tourism, healthcare, or international patient services sector. Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Exceptional communication in English (written and verbal), negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. High degree of professionalism, empathy, and a commitment to patient advocacy.
