In this role, you will be responsible for having experience in Radiology coding. Your primary task will involve reading documentation to understand the patient's diagnoses and transforming healthcare diagnosis, procedures, medical services, and equipment into universal medical alphanumeric codes. Additionally, you will be creating a uniform vocabulary for describing the causes of injury, illness, and death, which is a crucial role of medical coders. Medical coding allows for uniform documentation between medical facilities. The main responsibility of a medical coder is to review clinical statements and assign standard codes. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 1 year of experience in any Healthcare BPO and a university degree or equivalent that required 3+ years of formal studies in Life science/BPT/Pharm/Nursing. You should also possess good knowledge of human anatomy and physiology. Moreover, you should have at least 1 year of experience using a computer with Windows PC applications that required you to use a keyboard, navigate screens, and learn new software tools. The role requires you to work scheduled shifts from Monday to Friday, starting from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM IST, with the flexibility to adjust shift timings as per client requirements. You should also be prepared to accommodate overtime work and be available on weekends based on business requirements. It is mandatory to return to the office based on client or business requirements.,
