About the Role

Medical Copywriter

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update content for a variety of commercial and promotional assets across digital and print channels.
• Create content for omnichannel campaigns, including:
• Email campaigns
• Banner advertisements
• Social media posts
• Websites
• iDetails and sales force materials
• Patient education materials
• Brochures, leaflets, posters, and conference materials
• Ensure all content complies with medical, legal, and regulatory standards, including Dutch pharmaceutical regulations.
• Apply a working understanding of the

  CGR Code (Code Geneesmiddelenreclame)

  and the

  Dutch Medicines Act

  while developing content.
• Collaborate closely with graphic designers, brand teams, medical reviewers, and production teams to deliver high-quality projects.
• Support content ideation and creative campaign development when required.
• Maintain accurate referencing and ensure all content is supported by credible, current scientific sources.
• Adhere to editorial excellence, brand guidelines, language standards, and quality processes.
• Participate in client discussions, project meetings, and training programs.
• Leverage AI tools responsibly to enhance content quality, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with quality, confidentiality, information security, and organizational policies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biotechnology, Healthcare, or a related field.
• Minimum

  3+ years of experience

  in medical writing, medical communications, healthcare copywriting, or pharmaceutical content development.
• Experience working with pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or medical communications clients.
• Strong understanding of healthcare and pharmaceutical regulations.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating omnichannel and digital healthcare content.
• Knowledge of therapy areas such as:
• Oncology
• Immunology
• Respiratory
• Cardiovascular
• Renal & Metabolic Diseases
• Experience in SEO copywriting, keyword optimization, and digital marketing content.
• Experience working in a global, matrix-based organization.
• Familiarity with AI-powered content development tools.

Language Requirement

• Strong business communication skills in English.
