Certified Medical Coders

Key Responsibilities

• Review patient medical records and physician documentation.
• Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
• Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with client and regulatory guidelines.
• Identify and resolve coding edits and documentation gaps.
• Maintain quality and productivity benchmarks.
• Adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements.
• Participate in coding audits, training, and continuous learning programs.
• Stay updated with coding guidelines and industry regulations.

Eligibility Criteria

• Any Life Science Graduate (B.Sc., B.Pharmacy, Pharm D, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Zoology, etc.) or Medical Graduate.
• Freshers are welcome to apply.
• Certification from

  AAPC (CPC)

  and/or

  AHIMA (CCS)

• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong learning aptitude and adaptability.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
