Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on Mechatronics Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and test Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) and other electromechanical systems. The role spans mechanical design, electronics integration, embedded firmware, sensors and actuators, control algorithms, simulation, fabrication, and real-world testing. The ideal candidate can turn an engineering concept into a working prototype, troubleshoot across disciplines, and validate solutions through calculations and experiments.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assemble, integrate, and test mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in electronic circuits, electromechanical assemblies, sensors, and actuators.
• Perform functional testing, inspection, calibration, and quality checks on electronic products and systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Identify root causes of technical failures and implement corrective actions to improve product reliability.
• Support prototype development, product validation, and testing activities.
• Design mechanical components, assemblies, and pressure housings using SolidWorks.
• Develop embedded firmware using STM32, C/C++, and Python.
• Integrate sensors, IMUs, servos, BLDC motors, thrusters, and electronic systems.
• Implement PID controllers, sensor fusion, and attitude/depth control algorithms.
• Perform engineering calculations involving buoyancy, stability, thrust, drag, and structural design.
• Integrate flight controllers, communication systems, and ground-control software.
• Conduct simulation, prototype fabrication, hardware debugging, and real-world testing.

• Knowledge of CAD, programming, troubleshooting, and system integration.
• Ability to independently develop, test, and improve working prototypes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2 years of experience in mechatronics, electronics manufacturing, product testing, or electromechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and teamwork skills.
• AUVs, ROVs, robotics, ArduPilot, MATLAB/Simulink, underwater systems, or autonomous vehicles.

We are looking for an engineer who can take a system from concept and CAD design to embedded programming, hardware integration, and successful testing.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
