About MealMiles MealMiles is a fast-growing food-tech startup helping local restaurants grow repeat business while giving diners more value for their money. We’re building two React Native apps — one for diners and one for restaurant partners — along with a supporting backend and integrations (Firebase, Stripe, etc.). Role Overview We’re looking for a React Native developer who’s passionate about mobile app development and excited to work on real-world, production-level apps. This is a completely remote position. What You’ll Do Build and maintain features in our React Native apps (iOS & Android) Integrate with Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Storage) and third-party APIs (Stripe, Maps, etc.) Collaborate on UI/UX implementation and bug fixes Write clean, maintainable code and contribute ideas to improve the product Requirements Atleast 1–2 years of experience building apps with React Native (internships/personal projects count if solid) Good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and mobile app development basics Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, and common RN libraries (Expo experience is a plus) Eager to learn, proactive problem solver, able to work independently Reliable internet connection and ability to communicate in English (written & spoken) Nice to Have (Bonus) Experience with Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions) Stripe or other payment gateway integrations Exposure to mobile deployment (App Store/Google Play) Compensation Competitive pay, based on experience Flexible, fully remote work If you’re a motivated React Native developer looking to grow your skills while contributing to a real product, we’d love to hear from you!
