Job Title: MBBS Duty Doctor

Department: Medical Services / IPD / Emergency / ICU / Wards
Reports To: Senior Consultant / Medical Superintendent
Location: Rama Hospital, Baghpat, UP
Shift: Rotational (Day/Night)

Job Purpose:

To provide round-the-clock medical care to admitted patients, emergency cases, and support consultants in clinical management.

Key Responsibilities:1. Patient Care:

• Conduct initial assessment of patients on admission.
• Monitor and manage patient care under supervision of consultant.
• Perform routine medical procedures (IV line, catheterization, Ryle's tube, suturing, etc.).
• Update patient status regularly and document clinical progress.
• Attend to patients in emergency/trauma with basic life-saving procedures.

2. Clinical Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
• Ensure all case sheets are updated as per NABH or hospital protocols.
• Assist in discharge summaries and patient documentation.

3. Coordination and Communication:

• Liaise with consultants, nursing, paramedical, and diagnostics team for patient care.
• Communicate with patient attendants regarding condition and updates under consultant guidance.

4. Emergency Response:

• Respond promptly to Code Blue, Code Red, and other medical emergencies.
• Manage CPR and basic life support (BLS) till specialist care arrives.

5. Compliance and Protocols:

• Follow infection control, hospital safety, and quality protocols.
• Adhere to hospital's standard treatment guidelines and SOPs.

6. Academic and Development:

• Attend clinical meetings, CMEs, and case discussions.
• Be open to learning and upskilling through hands-on experience and mentorship.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualification: MBBS from a Govt university, with valid registration from MCI/State Medical Council.
• Experience:
• Freshers can apply.
• Prior experience in hospital duty (IPD/ER/ICU) is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: From ₹50,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 25 per week
