Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maximo BIRT Report Developer to design, develop, and deploy reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for business users. The role requires strong expertise in report development, data visualization, and complex query writing within Maximo BIRT environment. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy Maximo BIRT reports and dashboards tailored to business requirements Connect and integrate multiple data sources to build comprehensive reports and visualizations including cubes, crosstabs, and ad-hoc reports Format reports, define report files and properties for reports ranging from simple to complex involving calculations, charts, and visual elements Utilize practical knowledge of date formats, date methods, datasets, parameter lookups, hyperlinks, and scalar functions to enhance report capabilities Analyze and refine business requirements to translate into detailed design specifications for analytical reports and dashboards Develop complex SQL programs, PL/SQL procedures, and database queries to support reporting needs Collaborate with business users to ensure reports meet their expectations and deliver business value Required Skills: Proven experience in Maximo BIRT report development Strong SQL and PL/SQL programming skills for complex data extraction and manipulation Expertise in data visualization, report formatting, and use of BIRT tools Ability to work with complex datasets, parameterized queries, and advanced reporting functions Good analytical and problem-solving skills to translate business needs into technical solutions Effective communication skills for requirement gathering and stakeholder collaboration
