ROLE SUMMARYPragmaEdge is looking for a skilled Maximo Technical Consultant to join our offshore delivery team based in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be a key technical contributor on a high\-impact platform modernization engagement, supporting the migration of IBM Maximo from IBM SaaS to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and the upgrade of Maximo Application Suite (MAS) from version 9.1 to 9.2. You will work closely with onshore architects, project managers, and client stakeholders to execute installation, upgrade, and data migration activities while ensuring stability, integrity, and continuity of the Maximo environment throughout the transition.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESInstallation and Upgrade Execution
Plan, configure, and execute MAS installation and patchupgrade activities from version 9.1 to 9.2Perform end\-to\-end Maximo application upgrades, including pre\-upgrade analysis, execution, and post\-upgrade validationDeploy and configure Maximo on GCP infrastructure in alignment with solution architecture guidelinesApply interim fixes, fix packs, and patches as required throughout the project lifecycleMigration ActivitiesSupport and execute the migration of Maximo from IBM SaaS to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Perform database migration activities from DB2 to SQL Server, including data validation and integrity checksCollaborate with database and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless data transfer and minimal downtimeTroubleshooting and Issue ResolutionDiagnose and resolve technical issues arising during migration, upgrade, and post\-go\-live stabilization phasesAnalyze logs, error traces, and system configurations to identify root causes and implement fixes in a timely mannerEscalate complex issues to solution architects with clear documentation and recommended remediation pathsRetrofit, Integration, and ConfigurationAssess and handle retrofit activities for customizations, scripts, and configurations impacted by the migration or upgradeReview and update integration touchpoints including APIs, web services, and third\-party connectors affected by platform changesApply configuration changes to Maximo modules, workflows, escalations, and automation scripts post\-migrationDocumentation and CollaborationMaintain accurate technical documentation including upgrade runbooks, migration logs, configuration change records, and test resultsParticipate in daily standups, sprint reviews, and stakeholder checkpoint meetingsWork collaboratively in a blended onshore\-offshore delivery model, ensuring clear communication and handoff protocolsMUST\-HAVE SKILLSHands\-on experience with IBM Maximo or Maximo Application Suite (MAS) installation, configuration, and upgradesDemonstrated experience executing MAS or Maximo upgrades across major versionsProficiency in database migration, specifically from IBM DB2 to Microsoft SQL ServerStrong working knowledge of Maximo application architecture including Integration Framework, Workflow, Automation Scripts, and Application DesignerExperience deploying or supporting Maximo on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)Ability to troubleshoot Maximo technical issues across application, database, and infrastructure layersExperience managing retrofit activities for customizations and configurations during upgradesFamiliarity with Maximo integration patterns including REST APIs, XMLJSON\-based web services, and OSLCProficiency with UnixLinux operating systems and shell scripting for deployment and diagnosticsStrong analytical, problem\-solving, and written communication skillsNICE\-TO\-HAVE SKILLSHands\-on experience specifically with MAS 8.x or 9.x on OpenShift or Kubernetes environmentsPrior exposure to IBM SaaS\-to\-GCP migration projectsExperience with Maximo for utilities, asset management, or enterprise\-scale EAM implementationsFamiliarity with CICD pipelines and DevOps tooling used in Maximo deploymentsKnowledge of IBM Db2 administration and SQL Server DBA fundamentalsUnderstanding of containerized Maximo deployments using Red Hat OpenShiftIBM Maximo or MAS certificationQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline5 or more years of hands\-on experience in IBM Maximo technical consulting or administrationPrior experience working on at least one end\-to\-end Maximo migration or major upgrade projectAbility to work in an offshore delivery model with overlapping hours for onshore collaborationStrong verbal and written communication skills in EnglishExperience working in Agile or hybrid project delivery environments is preferred
