Role & responsibilities: Research potential vendors for Raw Material and packaging material purchase Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing Track orders and ensure timely delivery Review quality of purchased products Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases and software Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends. Preferred candidate profile Manages Quality continuous improvement initiatives Ensures standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation are being followed accordingly Plans and directs activities concerned with application, and maintenance of quality standards for Manufacturing Processes (Compounding, Finished Goods and or Fulfilment) Directs front line Associates and Quality Operators in matters related to quality Drive product and manufacturing process improvements Requests and retrieves technical information (specifications, drawings and standards) from various sources to assist in resolving quality issues and resolve problems as necessary
