Duties and Responsibilities: Design of Motor Control Algorithms using tools like Matlab Simulink. Implementation Control Algorithms using DSP / Microcontroller. Improvisation of algorithm code through testing using DSP / Microcontroller. Ability to solve novel, difficult design problems with tight timing constraints. Other Essential Requirements/Skills: Hands on Experience with implementation of Motor Control Algorithms using DSPs and Microcontrollers. Knowledge of different theories and concepts of Motor Control algorithms. Knowledge of algorithms like field-oriented control (FOC), Maximum torque per ampere (MTPA), Field weakening. Knowledge of strategies for thermal management and tuning to improvises dynamic behaviour. Proficient in different tools for Control Systems Design for Motor Control applications like Matlab Simulink etc. Basic knowledge of programming/ coding using C / C++ and Matlab. Knowledge about DFMEA and Fault Tree Analysis. Knowledge of functional safety standard (ISO 26262)
