The role involves implementing QMS, conducting inspections, driving CAPA, and achieving KPIs in a fast-paced shop floor environment. Key Responsibilities Maintain ISO 9001-compliant QMS, SOPs for Die casting, trimming, machining and further finishing processes; conduct internal audits to confirm the compliance with the QMS. Perform in-process review and final inspections using CMM, gauges, and visual checks; apply SPC to monitor cycle times, pressures, and alloy temps. Analyze defects via root cause tools like 5-Why, 8D; implement CAPA and verify effectiveness. Verify incoming materials (alloys, dies); handle customer NCRs and ensure quality >95%. Train production teams on DFM; generate monthly KPI reports on Rejections, COPQ, and reject rates. Required Skills and Qualifications Technical Skills: Proficiency in SPC, CMM, Six Sigma Green Belt; knowledge of die-casting & machining defects, NADCA standards, and alloy specs (Al, Zn). Engineering drawing, Limits & tolerances Experience: 3-5 years in manufacturing QA, preferably die casting/foundry; hands-on with audits and CAPA. (Experience for QC Engineers: 1-3 years in manufacturing QC, preferably die casting/foundry, or a machine shop; knowledge of CAPA/Why-why analysis.) Soft Skills: Strong analytical/problem-solving; excellent communication for reports and training; attention to detail.
