As a Production Manager in Jewellery Manufacturing, your role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations at the jewellery manufacturing facility in Kolkata. You will need to have a strong background in jewellery production and the ability to efficiently manage multiple departments to ensure timely and high-quality output at every stage of the process. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate activities of manufacturing departments such as CAD, CAM, Casting, Filing, Polishing, and Meena. - Oversee production schedules, manpower allocation, and workflow to ensure orders are completed on time. - Monitor quality control standards to ensure compliance with design and finish requirements. - Maintain smooth coordination between departments for material flow and job tracking. - Implement strategies to enhance productivity, reduce wastage, and maintain cost efficiency. - Troubleshoot production issues and provide guidance to artisans and department heads. - Coordinate with vendors and external partners for outsourced processes as needed. - Maintain production reports, track daily output, and present summaries to management. - Ensure safety, discipline, and cleanliness in all work areas. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in jewellery manufacturing with a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end production processes. - Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple departments and deliver results within deadlines. - Knowledge of gold jewellery production would be advantageous. - Basic proficiency in documentation, reporting, and production tracking. - Organized, proactive, and dedicated to upholding high-quality standards.
