We are seeking an experienced Chief Mechanic with strong expertise in multi-brand vehicles , including Japanese, American, European, and luxury segments. The ideal candidate will lead the workshop’s technical operations, ensure high-quality service delivery, and guide a team of technicians in diagnostics, repair, and maintenance tasks. This role requires advanced hands-on skills, excellent problem-solving ability, and strong leadership to maintain workshop efficiency and uphold MAS Garage’s service standards. Responsibilities Lead and supervise mechanics and technicians in daily workshop operations. Using manual and computerised diagnostic methods to identify potential problems in the vehicle. Explaining mechanical problems and possible solutions to clients. Planning work and testing procedures using charts, experience and other organizational methods. Testing parts and systems to ensure they work correctly. Ensuring all critical parts are checked and tested. Performing basic automotive care, including changing oil and rotating tires. Repairing or replacing worn, old or defective parts of a car. Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately. Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks) Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job Keep logs on work and issues. Maintain equipment and tools in good condition Requirements Minimum 7-10 years of proven experience as a multi brand auto mechanic is mandatory. Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift) Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc. Excellent physical condition. High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred Valid certification (e.g. ASE) is a definite plus.
