Manual QA Tester

Location:

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute functional and API tests for life and pension systems and downstream applications.
• Independently analyze business requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
• Perform hands-on debugging and root cause analysis of defects and issues.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and agile teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Work in agile sprints, participate in ceremonies, and adapt to evolving priorities.
• Utilize modern AI/ML tools and frameworks to enhance test effectiveness and efficiency.
• Document test results, defects, and provide clear status updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and data privacy requirements in all testing activities.
• Continuously improve test processes and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

• Timely and high-quality delivery of functional and API testing outcomes.
• Accurate defect identification, documentation, and communication.
• Effective collaboration with agile teams and business stakeholders.
• Continuous improvement of test coverage and process efficiency.
• Adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong understanding of life and pension domain workflows and downstream systems.
• Hands-on experience in functional testing, defect analysis, and debugging.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, TestRail, and Confluence.
• Exposure to AI/ML tools for quality engineering and test optimization.
• Ability to work independently and contribute as an individual tester within agile teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience

• 5 to 7 Yrs in QA/QE preferably in finance or GCC teams

Education

• Graduate in Computer Science, Finance, or related discipline.
• ISTQB or equivalent certification preferred.
