Role & responsibilities Design, develop, and debug embedded firmware for ARM Cortex-M MCUs (STM32 preferred). Implement and test peripheral communications: UART, SPI, IC, RS-485/Modbus. Perform board bring-up using schematics/datasheets; validate on target hardware. Write efficient low-level C drivers; optimize memory, performance, and power. Use oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and ST-Link/J-Link for debugging and validation. Collaborate with hardware/system teams for tight FW-HW integration; maintain clear documentation. Integrate IoT stacks (MQTT/HTTP/HTTPS) and RS-485 devices into products as needed. Contribute to bootloader/OTA features and device-driver improvements when applicable. Preferred candidate profile 3-7 years of embedded development experience with strong C on STM32/ARM Cortex-M. Comfortable with RTOS concepts (FreeRTOS) and task scheduling. Solid grasp of digital electronics; able to read schematics and confidently debug hardware. Hands-on with lab tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, power supply, signal generator). Experience with Git/Agile collaboration and clear technical documentation. Bonus: prior work with Modbus/CAN/BLE stacks, bootloaders, and low-power design. Bonus: exposure to ESP32/Raspberry Pi, Yocto/Linux, and PCB design (KiCad). Domain plus: shipped IoT products using GSM/GPS and MQTT/HTTP; drone/robotics experience is a plus.
