Description
Job Title: MongoDB Specialist / MongoDB Develop/Trainer Location: Jayanagar,Bengaluru Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced MongoDB professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, administering, and optimizing MongoDB databases. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our database systems to support business and application needs. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement MongoDB databases based on project requirements. Develop efficient database queries and aggregation pipelines. Monitor, maintain, and optimize MongoDB clusters for performance and availability. Handle data migration, backups, and disaster recovery procedures. Collaborate with developers to integrate MongoDB with applications and APIs. Implement database security best practices (authentication, authorization, encryption). Configure MongoDB replica sets, sharding, and indexing strategies. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, ensuring minimal downtime. Document architecture, processes, and best practices. Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 2+ years of experience working with MongoDB in a development or administrative role. Proficiency in MongoDB CRUD operations, aggregation framework, and performance tuning. Experience with MongoDB tools such as mongodump, mongoimport, mongotop, and mongostat. Knowledge of schema design in a NoSQL environment. Strong skills in JavaScript/Node.js, Python, or other relevant languages. Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and basic shell scripting. Preferred Qualifications: MongoDB certification (MongoDB Certified DBA / Developer). Experience with MongoDB Atlas (cloud-hosted MongoDB). Understanding of distributed databases and high availability configurations. Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with other NoSQL or SQL databases.
