Job Description

As a Managing Consultant at Wipro Limited, you will be responsible for selling and overseeing the delivery of intricate consulting solutions within your area of expertise, with a focus on generating tangible value for clients. Your role will involve leading the development of consulting strategies, supporting the growth of the practice, and cultivating strong client relationships. You will be engaged in managing large engagements, accounts, or leading complex consulting programs for customers. Additionally, you may have managerial responsibilities in supervising a team of consultants and ensuring quality and compliance in business operations, with a key focus on achieving high personal billability. Your responsibilities will include: 1. Consulting Execution: - Achieving utilization targets and embodying Wipro's tenets and values. - Leading as an Ambassador for the business and managing teams of consultants, work streams, projects, or programs. - Being client-focused, persistent in addressing client issues, and demonstrating a well-rounded consultant's experience. - Taking charge of budgets and ensuring the quality of deliverables. - Establishing trust as a trusted advisor to senior clients, receiving positive feedback from client executives. - Demonstrating a decisive and directive delivery approach, showcasing both hard and soft skills. - Coaching, mentoring, and motivating team and client staff, fostering trust and confidence through a focus on quality and delivery. 2. Business Development: - Ensuring high levels of individual and team utilization in alignment with set goals. - Managing a personal sales pipeline to meet revenue targets. - Leading sales activities, identifying leads, converting them into opportunities, and closing projects with minimal partner support. - Proactively seeking revenue development opportunities in existing and new areas. - Driving proposal creation and presales activities leveraging Wipro's global consulting capability. 3. Thought Leadership: - Being recognized as an industry thought leader and sharing thought leadership with relevant channels. - Ensuring that case studies and track records are effectively utilized in sales efforts. - Presenting Wipro's thought leadership at external industry forums and sales campaigns.
