Manager - Testing & Commissioning

Role & responsibilities

• Plan and execute

  testing and commissioning activities

  for water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Carry out pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and performance testing activities.
• Review approved drawings, specifications, commissioning procedures, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with

  Engineering, Construction, Electrical, Instrumentation, Process, Mechanical, and Project teams

  for smooth commissioning.
• Conduct equipment and system testing and identify technical issues during commissioning.
• Troubleshoot equipment, process, electrical, and instrumentation-related issues and coordinate for timely resolution.
• Ensure commissioning activities are carried out in accordance with approved procedures, safety requirements, and project schedules.
• Monitor plant parameters and support process stabilization during start-up.
• Prepare commissioning reports, checklists, test records, punch-point lists, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors during testing and commissioning activities.
• Support performance trials, reliability runs, and final handover of the plant to the client.
• Ensure compliance with project quality, HSE, and contractual requirements.
• Be willing to travel to

  project locations across India and overseas

  as required.

Preferred candidate profile

• Overall experience:

  22+ years

  in Testing & Commissioning / Plant Commissioning.
• Relevant experience in commissioning of

  Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants

  is preferred.
• Experience in

  WTP, STP, ETP, Desalination, Sewage Treatment, or Industrial Water Treatment Projects

  will be an advantage.
• Hands-on experience in plant start-up, testing, troubleshooting, and performance testing.
• Candidates with experience in EPC / water infrastructure projects will be preferred.
• B.E./B.Tech in

  Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Chemical / Civil / Environmental Engineering

  or relevant discipline.
• Relevant commissioning certifications or additional technical qualifications will be an advantage.
