Manager – Stores, Procurement & Inventory Management

ole Overview:

We are looking for an experienced professional to manage end-to-end stores operations, procurement, inventory control, material accounting and coal management activities at our plant.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage material procurement, vendor negotiations and quotation evaluation.

Handle purchase indents, comparative statements and Purchase Order processing.

Supervise material receipt, inspection, storage and inventory management.

Maintain daily stock records and material transactions in Tally ERP.

Monitor department-wise and plant-wise material issues and consumption.

Verify supplier invoices and coordinate with Accounts for payment processing.

Manage Returnable and Non-Returnable Gate Passes.Oversee coal procurement (SCCL & Imported), receipt, unloading, quality inspection and storage.

Coordinate coal sampling and laboratory testing for moisture and ash content.

Monitor daily coal issue, boiler consumption and stock reconciliation.

Conduct monthly physical stock verification of coal yards.Prepare daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports for Management.

Educational Qualifications:

B.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance / Supply Chain Management) or equivalent.Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline will be an added advantage.Certification in Materials Management / Supply Chain Management will be preferred.

Experience & Skills:

8–12 years of relevant experience in Stores, Procurement and Inventory Management.

Experience in manufacturing, process industries, oil processing or power plants preferred.

Practical knowledge of coal procurement, handling and consumption management will be an added advantage.Working knowledge of Tally ERP and MS Excel.

Strong vendor negotiation, inventory control, cost management and team coordination skills.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
